  Who I Am

I have lived in the same home near Burien for over 22 years.  I serve my local and surrounding communities, so my clients are where I work and shop.  I have taken two first aid/CPR classes and two dog obedience classes in the last two years to better prepare myself for caring for your pets.  I know all pet sitters must have a love for animals to be in this business, but to further my education I have taken and passed the Pet Sitter's International - Pet Sitters Accreditation Program.  This is just another way for me to show my commitment to providing the best care I can to those left in my care. 

Another commitment I'm making is to the environment.  I'm looking for ways to make my company more green.  Some of the things I've implemented for the new year are to use biodegradable bags, recycled paper and to send your receipts via e-mail.

In my previous life I was as an office manager/bookkeeper.  I worked for the same employer for 20 years, until it became necessary for a career change. The concept of Hart 2 Hart Pet Care grew out of my love for animals and the occasional need for the same services I am now offering you - to provide you with the option of leaving your pets at home in safe and familiar surroundings.

I'm a pet lover and over the years we've had many pets in our family from Schnauzers to Dobermans, Cockatiels to Hamsters and Cats to Hermit Crabs and a Beta Fish or two. We currently share our home with three fur kids a 3 year old Standard Schnauzer named Siegfried, 1 year old Tristan, a Norfolk/Westie mix aka "the boys" and our newest addition sister Bella a 3 month old Poodle mix (as of 3/2010).

Over the years I've experienced many ways to care for pets, each with its own unique set of circumstances, and that's how I'll care for yours, uniquely.  I personally operate this business (with the occasional help of my husband and daughter); I don't hire employees and work full time so I can personally care for your pets with love and affection morning til night.
